Sarah Dell

Sarah Dell is an Australian born, American raised singer songwriter who grew up banging on the piano on her dad's lap before she could properly sit up on her own. Nowadays, her 6 foot frame (in three inch heels) towers over the keys in search of somber, beautifully honest songs that sound like moving paintings as they explore relationships and introspection.

Sarah began piano lessons at age 4 and her love of music bloomed from there. She dreamed of one day singing on stage like Taylor Swift, and upon being given a guitar, that dream seemed one step closer. In high school Sarah was very active in the school’s concert band, theatre club, and chamber choir, as well as running track. With music a constant refuge, when she wasn’t doing homework, attending play rehearsal, or running at track practice, she was playing her guitar.

Inspired by Taylor Swift, Gracie Abrams, Phoebe Bridgers, Noah Kahan and Olivia Rodrigo, Sarah has a knack of finding a poignant lyric to capture a moment and soaring melody lines that tug at the heartstrings.

Sarah currently resides in Richmond, VA with her cat Mr. Bojangles.
